Kenzy Lynn Heaton

Kenzy is very smiley,the youngest, and has the most adorable laugh and dance ever. She always gets beat up by her older twin Ally but has gotten through it pretty well. She is the exact opposite of Ally and is like a paper doll that was painted by a famous artists, or sometimes she acts tired and angry. But i like her the way she is.

Easter

with all the craziness that have come with the twins. We have published our first photo in a year. It was difficult to get a great shot, but I think we can see everyones eyes. We are in love with these kids and cherish these little babies. Ally has the pink bow and Makenzy has the yellow bow. They were all decorated for Easter.

Brynn gets to open the baseball game with her group

We were so excited for Brynn. She was one of a few young violinist chosen to participate in the playing of the National Anthem for the Round Rock Express baseball team at the Dell Diamond. She is very talented and we are very proud of her for working so hard to get it perfect....Play Ball!

Yosimite Cole

Cole is always wearing some kind of hat. If he doesn't have a hat he invents something...a bag, a book, playdough, you name it he can wear it. His favorites include Cooper's Star Wars mask, His Monsters hard hat, and recently this red felt cowboy hat.

Motivated

This is our Cole. What you do see...Our two year old five shelves high in the pantry closet with a look of "uh oh, I've been caught." What you don't see is the bag of dove's chocolates.....Amazing what they can do when adequately motivated.

Jarom's Mobile Office

Jarom's office on wheels. This is the stuff that Jarom spends most of his time with. The Gas Man, Smells on Wheels, The Sandman. His business logo was going to say "Sedadent Anesthesia Services....Come Sleep with Me!" but he figured he might get the wrong kind of phone calls. It took a lot of work to put his business together, but we are thankful everything was gone well.

Our Home

I realized today that we had never published a picture of our house. We have finally moved in...ha ha ha. We are enjoying our new home and continue to have projects that need completing. We really love it and love the neighborhood. Next project...basketball standard so I can play ball with the kids. Look at that driveway...perfect for a little basketball game.

Everything is bigger in Texas....even the snowmen

I can't believe it snowed in Texas! Reports were that snow was coming. I dismissed the idea, saying to myself, "This is Texas. They always make a big deal over nothing." On my way to work, big Texas sized snowflakes started to fall and before we knew it we had three to four inches of packable snow. Work was cancelled and we spent the rest of the day making a Texas sized snowman. We had such a good time as a family

We finally got a better shot

After a whole year of not updating our blog, we are announcing double trouble. We went for an ultrasound and found out we are in for TWINS! Kristy has always wanted twins so she got her wish. Trevor and Kim have already warned us that this will be the hardest fun we will ever have! I just know that when the all night feedings come, they will be her twins. We are excited and hope all continues to go well

Our kids complained about getting their pictures taken for the third Sunday.  We did manage to  get a better shot.  

I want s'more

After all these years, Jarom finally had a chance to purchase some camping gear for christmas.  Here we all are enjoying a trial camp upstairs in our house.  Cole and Kristy are going to need some extra practice, but as you can see the rest of us are ready to head out.  They were especially excited about the seperate rooms and a remote control battery powered light.  Excuse the underwear.  Cooper is strutting his stuff.

Sinterklas and olliebollen

This year we started the tradition of Sinterklas from My mission.  We've had to modify it a bit, but the kids got out the wooden shoes for the patron saint of children.  We had surprises and made and ate Olliebollen (fried pastries that are similar to doughnuts).  We sang dutch songs and learned a little bit about the dutch culture and people.  It was fun for dad to tell mission stories about Sinterklas and eating warm olliebollen on cold cold holiday night years ago in the Netherlands.

This was our attempt at a sunday morning family picture.  We had some funny faces and a wandering Cole.  We love grandma's outfits!

Our little muscian

Brynn had her first recital with her new teacher.  She did such a good job.  I don't know how they can memorize all those songs with bowing and notes.  She has been practicing hard and we love to hear her play.  

Too cute to leave off the blog

cole and shay spend some time outdoors.  The weather has cooled considerably....we even had a hint of snow.  Even with the cold weather, Shayla won't wear a jacket.  Compared to weather in Ohio, this is nice.

The joys of construction for consumption

Let the Sugar frosting flow.  One piece of candy for the house, one piece for the tummy.  Following a family tradition, we made our gingerbread houses.  As soon as the houses were completed, they had already started nibbling away.   

Brother in tow

Cooper and Cole are now starting to play together.  It is fun to watch them make up games.  Most of the time, cole ends up as the tackling dummy, but they do have fun together.
